For a while I was seeing the non-Bronco Battle Kings in Wal Mart. But in the past month they quit carrying that series.

If memory serves, regshawn was finding quite a few sets out west. Don't know if anyone has found them out here or not..?

I never found any myself. Regshawn (Shawn) helped me. He recently said that he hadn't found any lately and that the price tags had been removed from shelves.

Hey... that's good news! Gives some of us hope of finding them again. You're the first person I've heard finding them in recent history.

I am curious as to why these sets never made it to Wal-Mart/Target? I can understand the older sets that have been shelf sitting for a while. I hope Matchbox is not selling direct to Big Lots and giving up on this product line.

My local Big Lots had some of the Bronco Canyon Raid as well as the other Battle Kings from that assortment. They also had a good selection of Hot Wheels singles and 5-packs, but no Matchbox singles. Big Lots to the rescue.

Back to Big Lots this past Tuesday and scored two sets with the Bronco!

The first time they only had about 4 sets total (no Bronco sets), but the second time they must've had 30 sets (2 Bronco sets)

Cool
