Hey Chris.. do you know if JL is going to run another version of their Roadster Bronco? There hasn't been one since the redline one has there?

Last time I talked to the JL manager he said the Bronco wasn't on the schedule to be released anytime soon. I've seen some of the 2009 planned releases and the Bronco wasn't listed. I'll check with him again to see if anything has changed.

"Right now, we do not have one scheduled but there is a chance for releasing one in the second half of 2009."

Thanks Chris. I was curious as to whether or not the JL Bronco has ran its course or not. Looks like we might get at least one more.

They should make some inserts for the mold to add doors, and maybe a new mold for a roof to extend the life...

I've always wondered why the Blazer had two different versions but not the Bronco. It would be nice to have a hard top "wagon" for a change.

Although the JADA Broncos have the hard top the Brown and Yellow are impossible to find. If not JL then Matchbox should make one.

An update from the JL Design Manager.

"Our 2009 second half release schedule is still in the works so I do not have a better update for you right now. Stay tuned!"

Yes, the prices are getting reasonable enough that I picked three off ebay recently. I even found one in a K-Mart sort of near me.

It looks like Johnny Lightning finally listened. Check out the modified Bronco that was shown at "Lightning Fest" this weekend. The release date is currently unknown. The version show is called a test shot. Test shots are made before the full producing starts.
